Product Description

The Balboa GS501SZ control system, equipped with a 3 kW integrated heater, offers comprehensive management for:

Pump 1: single-speed or dual-speed

Circulation pump

Blower: For an alternative option, replace the blower with a second single-speed pump using the GS504SZ model

Ozonator

Light

Audio system

This control box features advanced M7 technology, which utilizes temperature probes at both the inlet and outlet of the heater to monitor water flow. This innovative design significantly enhances reliability compared to systems that rely on pressure switches or traditional flow detectors.

Connections for each device—such as the pump, blower, ozonator, and floodlight—are made using AMP jacks.

For installations with a second single-speed pump in place of the blower, we recommend the GS504SZ. Additionally, when paired with an X-P231 expansion card, this control system can be upgraded to the GS510SZ.

As with all Balboa "SZ" systems, the GS501SZ allows users to select from three operating modes: standard, economy, and standby.

The GS501SZ system is pre-configured for single-phase operation but can also be configured for two-phase and three-phase setups (allowing the distribution of devices across different phases).
