M6 Bolt Insert for Wood

Flanged hex socket threaded insert nut

Designed for use with an M6 (6mm diameter metric) bolt. These are also commonly known as insert nuts, furniture insert nuts, or threaded bushings for wood.

Features:

Function: It provides a strong, permanent, machine-thread hole in wood, plywood, MDF, or composite panels, which is ideal for flat-pack furniture assembly and repair.

Installation: The external thread is self-tapping, designed to screw easily into a pre-drilled pilot hole using an Allen key (hex key) inserted into the internal socket.

Design: The flanged head helps prevent the insert from being driven in too deeply and offers a flush finish with the surface of the material.

Material: They are typically made from zinc alloy or steel and finished with a zinc plating for rust and corrosion resistance
