• Aqua-Flo (by Gecko): It can replace the XP2 and XP2e (1.5HP Single Speed models). The wet ends are almost identical in design.

  • Note: If your spa has very rigid plumbing and was built before 2008, the Waterway Executive may be trickier to replace.

1. Plumbing Size: The LX LP150 has 2-inch unions. (Measurement: the outer diameter of the actual pump thread will be approximately 78\textmm-79mm.

2. Frame Size: It uses a 48-Frame motor (European finned body). This is the distance between the mounting bolts. If your old pump is a larger "56-Frame," you may need to drill new holes in your mounting base.

3. Amperage: The LP150 draws roughly 5.8A. Ensure your existing control box and wiring can handle this (most 1.5HP setups are rated for 6-7A.

• The "Upgrade" Option: If you want slightly more pressure, the LX LP200 (2.0HP) has the exact same physical dimensions and footprint as the LP150. You can often swap to the LP200 for a boost in jet power without changing your plumbing.

• Wet End Rotation: If the "exit" of the pump is pointing the wrong way (e.g., pointing up instead of to the side), you can undo the four bolts on the front and rotate the wet end in 90° increments to match your pipework.

• Cable Swap: Most LX pumps come with an AMP plug. If your spa uses a different plug (like a J&J or molded cord), you can simply unscrew the back plate and swap the cable from your old pump onto the new one.
